In addition to standard flat-bottomed silos, our company’s assortment also includes hopper silos, mainly used as buffer silos during technological processes such as drying or cleaning.
These silos are designed for storing grain, rape, maize, legumes and other loose materials in wet or dry form.
The hopper discharge allows for quick emptying of the silo. The combination of many individual silos gives a virtually unlimited storage space.
They are made of galvanized corrugated sheet, which increases the strength of the structure. The roofs of the hopper silos are additionally covered with a SOLANO layer. It provides optimal protection and durability in particularly difficult weather conditions. It also offers corrosion protection class III DIN 5.5928.
We offer silos with an external hopper with angle of 45o and 60o and also silos with an internal hopper.
The silos have two ventilation gaps enabling air exchange when loading and unloading the silo. One of them is between the roof and the cylindrical part, the other between the roof and the roof cap. The ventilation gaps are protected by a cover that prevents the ingress of snow, birds and rodents. This cover is attached to the roof of the silo at a distance of approx. 3 cm from the silo cylindrical part.
The roof structures are calculated to withstand the increased snow load.
The shape of the roof supporting beams is designed in the form of gutters so that they can also be used to drain the condensate from the roof beyond the silo.
